These days, it can be confusing figuring out what to eat, yet alone what to feed your babies! 

 We've curated a list of human foods that may be safely shared with healthy dogs, 

as well as what should be avoided to keep them well.

  • potatoes / sweet potatoes (cooked with skins removed)
  • pumpkin
  • carrots
  • zucchini
  • green beans
  • broccoli
  • cantaloupe
  • watermelon
  • apples
  • bananas
  • blueberries
  • cranberries
  • peanut butter (make sure it is natural and does not contain xylitol)
  • oatmeal
  •  eggs
  • yogurt/kefir (can make a good probiotic if your dog is not allergic/lactose intolerant)
  • honey

toxicity can range from mild tummy upset to poisoning - consult with your veterinarian if your pet has ingested


  • chocolate
  • alcohol/caffeine
  • chewing gum/gums found in food
  • onions
  • grapes/raisins
  • xylitol (sugar substitute)
  • almonds/macadamia nuts
  • cinnamon
  • salty/junk foods (in large amounts)
